Now the Youtuber is stepping up - and not only criticizing the Union.
Berlin - Almost a month before the federal election in 2021, the Youtuber Rezo spoke up again with a video - and above all criticized the Union's staff.
His main accusation against Union Chancellor candidate Armin Laschet * (CDU), Transport Minister Andreas Scheuer (CSU) and Agriculture Minister Julia Klöckner (CDU) are incompetence, failure and the spread of untruths.
But the Greens were not spared either.
The man with the striking blue head of hair became known to a wide audience in 2019 when he attracted a lot of attention with the video "Destruction of the CDU" * - at that time shortly before the European elections.
To date, the 55-minute clip has generated around 19 million clicks.
There was positive as well as negative criticism.
The Green politician Marina Weisband told the Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung, “The video probably did more for democracy than half of all state activation programs in Germany put together.” CDU General Secretary Paul Ziemiak, on the other hand, described Rezo's statements as “mixing up pseudo-facts”.

The concrete examples, on which Rezo worked off, are essentially already known.
"Yes, it's time for another video like this", so began the current video on Youtuber.
It's all about "failing and screwing up in essential skills", not about little things, said Rezo.

He threw the CDU chairman Laschet laughing on the sidelines of Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier's appearance in the flood areas * - Rezo called this behavior “unacceptable”.
He also denounced that the social media team of the North Rhine-Westphalian state government led by Laschet had distributed pictures of his visit to the affected communities, while the Prime Minister himself said he did not want to use them to produce any pictures.

He attacked the chancellor candidate hardest because he said in the ARD summer interview that there was not a single tax relief in the election program, unless it was later financially viable for small and medium-sized incomes - although it said that companies should be relieved of taxes and bureaucracy.
So Laschet either “lied” or was “deadly incompetent”, which means something like: irredeemably incapable.
In addition, Rezo Scheuer criticized the billions in costs for the failed car toll ("obvious waste of hundreds of millions of euros") and Klöckner, for example, because she had advertised the food company Nestlé and what it claims to be sugar-reduced products ("incredibly incompetent and unprofessional ").

This time, the Greens were also criticized because a district association made fun of the Union’s bias towards men and illustrated this with a photo of Chancellor candidate Annalena Baerbock and other women - on which the men were cut away on the edge.
For Rezo this is an “unnecessary move” and “cramped”.
At the end he announced that “Part 1” would of course be followed by a sequel.

By Monday morning (23.08.2021) the video had almost 1.6 million clicks on YouTube.
It is also currently a big topic of conversation on social media: The hashtag #Rezo is trending on Twitter.
On the short message service, there are mostly words of praise for Rezo.
"I also think it is worth considering that a 30-year-old YouTuber does for the most part what we actually have journalists for before the federal election," wrote one user.
"Until now I had no idea who #Rezo actually is, but now I want to include 'deathless incompetent' in my language usage," commented another user.
