The statement of Ariel Máximo "Guille" Cantero (33) promised to be the highlight of the second day of the trial of the leader of "Los Monos" and other members of the band in Rosario.
Although the drug lord finally did not participate by videoconference, at the hearing a 911 call was presented with
death threats to the president of the court
who convicted the organization's referents.
The communication was recorded on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. On Tuesday night,
two shooting attacks
had been reported
in the center of Rosario
.
In the first episode, they shot at a house located over Italy at 2100, in the same block as the 5th police station.
The second was against a building in Montevideo at 1000.
"Hello, we are here from the Cantero gang. And let Los Monos go down because we are going to grab the judge. We
will blow up the whole house and kill him,
" said a man who called the Police Emergency Center Santa Fe to give an account of what happened.
The recipient of these threats was Ismael Manfrín, who a month and a half earlier had signed the first ruling against part of the gang together with his colleagues María Isabel Más Varela and Marisol Usandizaga.

Faced with this warning, the operator tried to identify the caller, but had no response and was unable to interrupt the person speaking on the other end of the line.
Regarding the magistrate's situation, the author of the threats asserted: "
We are going to kidnap him
. We are telling him this now live
."
The communication lasted just over 30 seconds in which the man who limited himself to insisting on the release of members of the narcocriminal organization.
"
Let go of all the Monkeys because we killed them all
. I am telling you seriously, don't fuck around because we killed all of you huh. Release the Monkeys,
" he exclaimed.
Between the end of May and the beginning of August 2018, there were a series of
12 attacks against private homes and public buildings
.
Although there were more attacks after that date, this first saga of crimes is the one that has been in debate since Friday with Cantero as the main accused.

In addition to Manfrín, the victims include other authorities of the provincial criminal jurisdiction and the Santa Fe Police who intervened in the megacause that had 25 people accused.
On this occasion, "Guille" returns to sit on the bench with a series of
effective prison sentences totaling more than 62 years
.
However, at the opening last Friday he did not hesitate to pull the rope and assured that among his "
various trades
" he is engaged in hiring "
hitmen to shoot the judicial judges
."
The leader of "Los Monos" excused himself from participating again this Monday after his resounding statement before the court made up of Hebe Marcogliese, Rafael Coria and Pablo Pinto.
Instead, he chose to
take advantage of the visitation day at the Marcos Paz federal prison and see his partner Vanesa Barrios
, also convicted by the federal Justice in the first drug trafficking case that involved the Rosario gang.

"Guille" faces a request for a sentence of 24 years in prison, like Matías César and Lucía Uberti, a
couple identified as his henchmen outside prison
to organize the shooting attacks.
The list of defendants is completed with Leandro "Chulo" Olivera, Leonel Alejandro Fernández, Damián Oscar Enrique "Colombiano" Chávez and Daniel "Teletubi" Delgado.
The latter was found guilty as one of the perpetrators of the triple crime of Villa Moreno, registered on New Year's Eve in the southern part of the city in the framework of a drug dispute in which they killed three young people outside the conflict.
