Nuremberg - A 26-year-old flew over a wall on Saturday evening (August 21) while driving an e-scooter and fell ten meters into the depth.

According to a press release from the Central Franconian police headquarters *, the man was out and about in Nuremberg * on Maxtorgraben between Tuchergartenstrasse and Labenwolfstrasse at around 11:45 p.m. 

A 41-year-old woman he had passed heard a thump a short time later.

When she turned to check on him, all she saw was the e-scooter.

The man was gone.

When she looked over the wall, she found the scooter driver lying in the ditch.

She then notified the police and rescue workers. 

Nuremberg: Young man is lucky in misfortune 

Although he fell about 10 meters, the young man “only” suffered a foot injury and a few wounds.

Ambulance took him to a hospital. 

The police suspected that the man drove drunk.

The alcohol test, which was carried out at the scene of the accident, showed that the man had over 1.7 per mil.

The Nuremberg traffic police have started the investigation.
