In Tsim Sha Tsui, a girl’s party imprisoned and abused a 14-year-old girl.
A 16-year-old girl had met the 14-year-old girl who was victimized on a social platform earlier, and the two parties met in Tsim Sha Tsui last Friday (20th) for a drink and entertainment.
Unexpectedly, the girl suspected that the other party had sex with her suitor and felt betrayed, so she retaliated against the party and confined and assaulted the victim girl in a hotel room in Chatham Road South, during which she filmed obscene footage.
After the Yau Tsim Police District Crime Squad took over the investigation, eight girls' gangs were arrested in various districts throughout Hong Kong.
Eight girls' party (between 12 and 17 years old) were arrested on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm (AOABH), illegal confinement, production and possession of child pornography.
According to sources, everyone is mainly a Form One or Form Two student, and some people reported that they were unemployed. Among them, the 16-year-old female lead was enrolled in the beauty course of the Vocational Training Council.
They and the 14-year-old girl who was victimized in the case knew each other, and they became friends through Instagram in July this year.
The case occurred last Friday. The 16-year-old female protagonist involved in the case led a 17-year-old boy who was pursuing her, and met the victim girl to the Tsim Sha Tsui area for drinking and recreation, but then she discovered that the girl had sex with the boy in the hotel, and she was suspected of being caught The girl betrayed, so she angrily summoned her party members to retaliate, and set up an appointment with the victim girl to meet at another hotel in Chatham Road South, during which the young gangs slapped the girl in the room and attacked the victim. Someone slapped the girl and drenched it. The girl’s lower body was stuffed with a hard object, and the lewd footage was photographed with a mobile phone.
After the victimized girl was imprisoned and bullied for more than 2 hours, the 16-year-old Girl’s Party left with other accomplices, leaving only the collaborating party responsible for guarding the victimized girl.
The comrades who remained in the meantime notified a friend of the victim girl of the incident, and the friend informed the victim's father, who was shocked and called the police.
At about 9 o'clock that night, the police officers rushed to the scene of the hotel where the incident occurred and found that the victim was covered in cuts and bruises. Fortunately, she was sober and quickly sent her to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.
After preliminary investigation by the police, it is believed that she had been confined in a hotel room, during which she was assaulted and filmed indecent footage.
The Yau Tsim Police District Crime Squad took over the investigation. On the same day and the following day (21st), eight girls were arrested in various districts in Hong Kong. They were subsequently released on bail pending further investigation and must report to the police in early September.
It is understood that in the incident, the 17-year-old man involved in having sex with an underage girl has also been arrested.
