From Monday: Only those who have been vaccinated, tested or recovered are allowed to go to the restaurant, swimming pool and other leisure facilities - in almost all districts in Upper Bavaria.
Munich / Garmisch-Partenkirchen - On Monday (23 August) a new corona regulation will come into force in Bavaria.
If a district or a city permanently exceeds the incidence of 35, the so-called 3G apply: vaccinated, recovered or tested.
Corona in Bavaria: 3G rule applies to almost all districts in Upper Bavaria
If you then want to attend cultural or sporting events in closed rooms, want to go to a restaurant, use so-called body-friendly services (e.g. hairdresser), want to go to closed rooms in certain leisure facilities, want to do sports indoors or want to stay in a hotel, one of the three G show.
Almost all districts in Upper Bavaria and the city of Munich have been above the 35 incidence value for days and are introducing the 3G regulation from Monday.
Only two districts are still below, the proof of a "G" is further away: Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Landsberg am Lech.
There, of all places, in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, a hotelier is now introducing even stricter rules: If you want to stay overnight in your hotel, you have to recover or be vaccinated.
Corona tests then only apply to pregnant women and adolescents.
Upper Bavaria: Some districts have an incidence over 50
In Upper Bavaria, some districts are even above the incidence limit of 50 - and had or will have to introduce stricter corona rules in the next few days.
In the Weilheim-Schongau district, these have been in effect since Sunday, and they are expected in Munich.
However: In this case too, the regulations only apply to non-vaccinated people: For example, contact restrictions apply again to them.
By the way: All developments and results for the upcoming federal election from your region as well as all other important stories from the Weilheim-Penzberg region are now also available in our regular Weilheim-Penzberg newsletter.
The now re-emerging muddle of rules, which everyone in Bavaria still knows from last spring, should, however, soon be over.
According to Prime Minister Markus Söder, only one thing will apply in the near future: the three Gs in every situation, regardless of the incidence, which is slowly becoming obsolete.
Pandemic knife is said to be the hospital occupancy rate.
The new regulation has yet to be decided for Bavaria.
