An unemployed man in Sham Shui Po who owes debts is found to throw drugs into the planter and fails to escape

At about 1 am today (24th), when police officers patrolled Cheung Sha Wan Road near Nam Cheong Street in Sham Shui Po, they found a man who was acting suspiciously. At about 1 am today (24th), when police officers patrolled Cheung Sha Wan Road near Nam Cheong Street in Sham Shui Po, they found a man who was acting suspiciously. During the interception and investigation, the suspicious man fled with his feet on the way to Cheung Sha Wan Road. At the junction with Shek Kip Mei Street, he was eventually intercepted. During the entanglement, the suspect attacked and injured a male policeman and was eventually subdued.


According to sources, during the escape, the suspect had thrown a packet of suspicious items into the flower trough. The police officers later seized the bag and found that it was initially suspected to be "ice".

It is understood that the man was 28 years old, unemployed and in debt. He was later arrested on suspicion of "drug trafficking" and "assaulting police."

The injured male police officer in uniform was escorted to Caritas Medical Centre for treatment, accompanied by a casual uniform.
