Regensburg - The city of Regensburg * is already starting the booster vaccinations against the corona virus.

A report from the district of Regensburg shows that these are initially intended for those over 80 years of age.

In the Zeitlarn multi-purpose hall in Lauberstraße 1, vaccinations will take place on Monday (23 August), Tuesday (24 August) and Wednesday (25 August) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A mobile team from the district vaccination center is on site for the booster vaccinations.

Regensburg: Booster vaccinations possible from now on

During these three open vaccination days, not only booster vaccinations are carried out, but also first and second vaccinations.

By the way: Our brand new Regensburg newsletter informs you about all developments and results from the world cultural heritage city about the upcoming federal election - and of course about all other important stories from Regensburg.

Vaccinations are now possible for all people with immunodeficiency, immunosuppression or other pre-existing illnesses, as well as for people over the age of 80.

The prerequisite for a third injection, however, is that the second vaccination was at least six months ago.

Therefore, a second vaccination for those who are interested in the third vaccination must have been given before February 23, 24 or 25.

Regensburg: Vaccination appointments without registration

There is also a choice when it comes to vaccines: the mRNA vaccines from BioNTech * and Moderna * are available.

Registration or pre-registration is not required.

However, you must bring a valid identification document (ID card or passport) as well as the vaccination certificate.

In addition, the city offers free advice to advise on possible uncertainties or questions.
