The duality of love and joy brought together by the love of art, so the experience of the teacher’s feather competed with the modernity of the trainee’s feather, forming a special creative case that was hosted by an exhibition at the Arab Cultural Center in Abu Rummaneh.

Plastic artist Issa Al-Issa explained in a statement to SANA that the exhibition, titled The Duality of Love and Joy, brought him together as an artist and the trainee child Rima Shalhoub.

He indicated that the exhibition included paintings of nature drawn by the hand of the little girl Rima, black and white graphics, and symbols used in villages, using a variety of comprehensive techniques.

He pointed out the importance of presenting a common experience between a creative child and her teacher, which will push her forward and encourage her to do the best.

Rabab Ahmed, cultural director of Abu Rummaneh, explained that the center used to host various exhibitions for children, but this exhibition has a special flavor as it combined the experience of a professor and his student, indicating that Rima is a spontaneous child who carries a lot of beauty and joy within her. Reaching an advanced stage with her talent.

Ahmed pointed out that the girl's paintings are characterized by joy and attractive colors and express a colorful and beautiful world. As for the artist, Al-Issa is a very important experience because she combined advertising, graphic and print posters, which made the harmony between the two experiences beautiful and distinctive.

Eight-year-old Rima Shalhoub began drawing with watercolors at the age of five, and when she grew up, she learned to draw in a specialized studio.

In her imagination, Shalhoub searches for ideas and translates them with her childish brush on paper. She aspires to become a painter in the future, expressing her joy at experiencing her first exhibition at such a young age.

The child's father, Fouad Shalhoub, indicated that Rima's talent was encouraged by her parents, by registering her in a specialized drawing center, and she learned from a drawing teacher who supported and helped her, considering that participating in the exhibition gave her a lot and was a step in her journey with art to become a famous artist bearing the name of Syria.
