For Saturday, September 25th, the Peißenberger Frauenbund is planning the return of its children's goods bazaar.

We spoke to the organizer Andrea Glas about the plans for the return of the popular market.

An interview.

After a year and a half of the forced Corona break, a few days ago you announced the return of the "Children's Goods Bazaar Peißenberg" for September 25th.

How did this step come about?

Andrea Glas: The return of our children's goods bazaar was longed for by some parents.

Even if, due to the pandemic, we will be setting up outside on the fairground this time and instead of a typical bazaar, we are holding a flea market, we are very happy that we can finally start again.

Goods have to be presented yourself

Does that mean that there will be changes compared to previous years?

Andrea Glas: Yes, unfortunately the current hygiene regulations only allow a temporary solution.

We ask the participants to present their goods themselves this time, but are on hand to offer advice and assistance.

In contrast to the previous bazaars, this time the goods will be presented per sales stand.

We are currently still in contact with the health department.

We assume, however, that the event will have a similar character to “normal” flea markets.

Registration via its own platform

What exactly do participating sellers have to prepare for?

Andrea Glas: The registration runs as before via our platform “basaria.de”.

We intend that registration will be possible from August 30th.

As in previous years, only children's goods are to be offered.

In addition to clothing, this also includes shoes, baby equipment and toys.

Should the weather thwart our plans, we have set an alternative date for the following Saturday, October 2nd.

Do you think that the need to stand at the stand will change the number of participants?

Andrea Glas: We hope that the response will be similar, as some families told us about overcrowded wardrobes.

Also inform on Facebook

How can those interested in taking part prepare in the coming weeks?

Andrea Glas: The participants can orientate themselves on the earlier bazaars.

Next week we will provide further information on our Facebook page “Kinderwarenbasar Peißenberg”.

It is generally worth taking a look at the Facebook page and the aforementioned website “basaria.de” in advance.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming previous and new participants to the new edition of the commodity market.

The Peißenberg children's clothing bazaar has often survived bad times, a few years ago a group of women saved the event and took over the organization.
