The Israel Police has opened an investigation into a rape incident of a minor from 2015, by a number of suspects at a hotel in the city of Ashdod.
A key suspect was arrested today (Sunday).
The investigation of the undercover police began with a complaint received by a 21-year-old girl, after she decided to go to the police station, where the investigators recounted a rape case that occurred in 2015. The
young woman's complaint shows that when she was a 14-year-old girl, she used the service of a taxi driver. Haaretz towards the city of Ashdod, where during the trip the taxi driver allegedly provided her with dangerous drugs, and then took her to a hotel in the city of Ashdod, where he allegedly took advantage of her situation and committed serious sexual offenses there.
The suspicion also arose that the main suspect invited his friends to the same room, who also allegedly carried out their plot on the minor.
This morning, as the investigation progressed to the overt stage, police investigators arrested the main suspect (36, Ashdod), on suspicion of offending a minor on drugs, unlawful cause and other serious offenses.
The police investigation continues to locate the identities and arrests of the other suspects.
