Daraa-Sana
The remnants of terrorist groups in some areas of Daraa still insist on obstructing all settlement efforts made by the state to establish security and stability throughout the governorate, as they attacked residential buildings today and targeted Maysalun neighborhood with a missile on the Daraa Tafas road.
SANA's reporter in Daraa stated that the terrorist groups that reject the settlement attacked Maysaloon neighborhood, which is adjacent to the Daraa-Tafas road, with a missile, causing damage to the targeted building and its surroundings.
The correspondent pointed out that the continued attacks of the remnants of terrorist groups in Daraa al-Balad, the camp, the dam road and some rural areas confirm that they are still taking chaos and criminality as an option, disregarding all attempts at settlement and dialogue that the Syrian state started more than a month ago with the aim of protecting civilians and not endangering their lives. .
Today’s attack by terrorist groups on Maysaloon neighborhood is added to the repeated attacks, the last of which was last Friday by targeting a point of the Border Guard forces deployed along the common border with Jordan, which, before the army restored security and stability to Daraa in 2018, constituted open crossings for arms smuggling and the crossing of trained and funded terrorists. from the West and its clients.
Despite the intransigence of the remnants of terrorist groups, the Syrian state still insists on the option of settlement and the language of dialogue as a way to end the chaos of arms in Daraa, which has become a great burden on the shoulders of the citizens and their daily lives and disturbs them with the approaching start of the school year, as voices rose in Daraa calling for an end to this abnormal situation and the chaos of weapons.
Last weekend, the Syrian Arab Army units brought new military reinforcements to Daraa and opened the Saraya corridor for civilians wishing to leave the areas under the control of terrorists towards Daraa al-Mahatta. The state also prepared a temporary accommodation center with various basic supplies and materials to receive them.
