A 21-year-old man was shot dead last night (Monday) by gunfire fired at a store in Nazareth.
Another person was seriously injured in the incident, and was taken to the English hospital in the city.
The incident comes against the backdrop of multiple shootings across the country in the past week, including the murder of 28-year-old Lorin Tafal on Friday night.
Tafal was shot to death while on a train on Danny Mess Street in Ramla.
The background to the incident is apparently a conflict between two families in the city, when her ex-husband was also murdered a few years ago, and her relative, 23-year-old Hassam Musrati, was murdered last week.
On Saturday, police announced that they had arrested a 37-year-old suspect.
