Trump receives boos from his supporters in Alabama for asking them to get vaccinated against the coronavirus

Former President Donald Trump was booed at a political rally Saturday in Alabama after he told supporters they should get vaccinated.

"And you know what? I totally believe in your freedoms. I do. Everyone has to do what they have to do," Trump said, "but I recommend getting the shots.

." 

Some boos then resounded from the audience, most of whom were not wearing masks.

"No, it's fine. Nothing happens. You have your freedoms," Trump replied, echoing the rhetoric of those who oppose the use of the mask and vaccination mandates.

"But I happen to have gotten the vaccine. If it doesn't work, they'll be the first to know. Okay? I'll call Alabama and say, hey, you know what? But it's working. But they have their freedom that they have to safeguard. They have to protect it. protect, "he concluded.
