Last week he had the big event of the summer - the "Gaming Cup", which presented the Israeli championship in electronic sports. The event lasted for two days and took place at the Beat Club in Haifa, and was broadcast live on the gaming channel, accompanied by professional commentators and YouTubers from the field.

The event is an initiative of the "Gaming Channel" (HOT on TV, Channel 66) under the Gaming Cup - the channel's competition incubator. The summer event is the result of a collaboration with the Association for Competitive Gaming on the one hand, and the global BLAST League broadcast on the channel.

The Israeli championship was continuously broadcast on television on the gaming channel, while the finals were held for two days by special broadcasters with an audience, live from the "Beat" club in Haifa, and in collaboration with Clover College.

As part of it, competitions were held in the leading games in the format of a national championship and qualifiers in no less than three international leagues, and the best players in Israel participated in games such as the Rokat

The Rocket League and Valorant games are not included in the World Championship for countries, so the teams that competed in the Gaming Cup competed for the title of "Israeli Champions".

On the other hand, the games Counter Strike, Tech and eFootball are indeed included in the big tournament, so the winners and the team will take part in the national team that will represent Israel at the World Championships in e-sports.

The same championship is being held this year in Israel, hosted by the Association for Competitive Gaming and Maccabi World Movement in Eilat.

The World Championship will be held this November in the city of Eilat, with the participation of about 500 players from over 80 countries around the world.

The eFootball game (which officially changed its name this year and in the past most of you knew it as "Pro Evolution") featured

Shai Bozanach, Nir Tuvia, Dor Edri and Uriel Daniel

- who has won the Israeli championship in the past and represented the country in the World Championship and even the eEuro tournament. In the grand final it was Uriel and Shai who found themselves in a head-to-head battle, but it was Uriel who won 0-3 and won to retain his title and represent the country again this year at the World Championships.

The final final was attended by players Adir Amiel, Guy Guzman, Amnon Moreh and Michael Karkaz - who has already represented Israel in championships for several years in a row. Amiel who managed to interrupt the continuum of the former champion Caracas - and establish himself as the technician of the Israeli team.

In the Counter Strike game segment, eight different teams reached the quarterfinals: Worstfive, prembots, CP0, X4ckers, Niisun, Hapyjamot, Unstop and Nom Gaming - the new team of the Israeli eSports organization.

In the grand final Nom Gaming defeated their rivals Hapyjamot on a tense map that ended in a score of 11-15.

The "Rocket League" car football game was attended by the teams Maccabi Slavik, the horses, flying cars, Ball Chasers, 636, Enter Team Name, AGAP and OKEY.

Throughout the stages and in the grand final it was Enter Team Name who showed control and defeated Maccabi Slavik by a score of 2-5.

The Valorant tactical shooting game also received a surprising turnout this year, featuring Team Adventure, HunterzZZ, Bababoys, Best Aimers and Mix.

There is no doubt that Mix was considered the surprise of the tournament, after it managed to get itself out of the losers' house and find itself in the final against Team Adventure, and finally also conquer the goal and declare themselves champions of Israel and the team that will represent the country at the World Championships.

The Israeli Championship is the main competition in Israel in the field of gaming, held once a year during the summer months by the Association for Competitive Gaming since 2010. The championship is attended by the leading and best players in Israel and is a springboard for events and international competitions.
