On Tuesday, the incidence in the Dachau district was 68.4 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days.

On Tuesday, the incidence in the Dachau district was 68.4 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days.

Even if various discussions about the significance of the incidence have been held in the past few days, the incidence value is still considered a benchmark for measures and restrictions in the district. This means that appropriate 3G proof must be provided for the following areas: for public and private events in closed rooms, for indoor catering, for body-friendly services in closed rooms, for sports in closed rooms, in accommodation establishments as well as when visiting hospitals and Nursing homes.

Furthermore, there is a contact restriction of ten people from a maximum of three households.

Children under the age of 14 belonging to these households, as well as vaccinated and convalescent persons, are not counted.

According to the District Office, children up to their sixth birthday and schoolchildren are exempt from the obligation to provide evidence that they have either been tested, vaccinated or recovered.

This also applies to schoolchildren during the holidays.

95 percent of the cases are symptomatic

A total of 104 new corona infections were reported to the health department between August 16 and 22.

According to the health department, around 95 percent of the cases are symptomatic, that is, those infected show symptoms of the disease.

Almost 60 percent of new infections can be found in the age group from 13 to 39 years, with people over 60 years of age hardly getting infected, according to the health department.

Eighteen of the newly infected people had already been vaccinated, but none of them had any or only very mild symptoms.

Almost half of the cases are returnees.

A local hotspot or specific infection site or cause can still not be determined in the district.

In the vast majority of cases, it is an infection with the so-called delta variant.

Unfortunately, the number of corona patients in the Helios-Amper-Klinikum Dachau is increasing.

Ten patients with a proven infection are currently being treated in the normal ward.

One patient receives intensive medical care.

The average age of the patients is 57 years, with ten of the eleven patients not having any vaccination protection.

In order to curb the overall diffuse contagion, the health department asks all citizens to adhere to the known protective measures in a disciplined manner and to continue to use the free test offers.

With a view to those returning from summer vacation and the start of school in mid-September, the test track in Indersdorf will therefore extend the test times from September: From September 1, it will be possible there from Monday to Friday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on the weekends from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. can be easily tested.
