Mick Jagger and Keith Richards - who together with Charlie Watts, drummer of the Rolling Stones made up the heart of the mythical band, - uploaded heartfelt photos to their
social networks
to say goodbye to their partner,
who died on Tuesday at the age of 80.
The 77-year-old guitarist appealed on Instagram to the pictorial image of a drum set on which
a sign with the legend "closed" hangs
