If the corona numbers continue to rise, only vaccinated people could have access to discos and bars in Austria from autumn.
“In night catering we have the situation that many unvaccinated people meet vaccinated people.
Therefore, there is a particular risk of so-called super-spreader events, ”said the Kurz and Mückstein press release.
If the numbers continue to rise, the 1G rule will be needed in discos and nightclubs, Kurz clarified.

The 3G rule currently still applies in Austria: those who have been vaccinated, tested or recovered have access to gastronomy, sports and leisure events or to so-called body-friendly services, such as hairdressers.
Briefly stated that with the corona vaccination one had "the best means in hand to master the pandemic and to protect our health system".
Health Minister Mückstein also called on the population to get vaccinated.
"Current scientific prognoses show that we need to increase the vaccination rate further to avoid overloading the health system," he said.
"You protect yourself and your loved ones from a serious illness", so his appeal.
