From May 13th to June 15th this year, the Department of Early Childhood Education of the University of Education invited 58 kindergartens to cooperate, and through the social platforms of the University of Education, a total of 825 K3 parents’ opinions were collected to understand their parenting in the epidemic. Difficulties, support needed, and whether children are anxious when they are raised.

Ninety-three of the parents interviewed said they felt pressure to raise their children during the epidemic, and nearly two adults felt a lot of pressure.

The main sources of stress include children's learning progress (85%), children's behavior problems (53%), and anxiety about the epidemic (51%).

In addition, economic factors and lack of support have also become a source of pressure for 38% of parents.

The survey also found that nearly 54% of parents report that their children are anxious about entering primary school. Over 35% of school children have experienced anxiety symptoms such as excessive worry and irritability; less than 3% of parents believe that their children are adequately prepared for primary school. 99% of parents are I look forward to receiving more support, such as visiting elementary schools, observing classes, and setting up elementary parents' meetings.
