Ebersberg district - With Josefine, the Ebersberg carnival company train, it is now easy and comfortable to go to the sights of Ebersberg, Grafing & Co. And on September 12th, Memorial Day, everyone in the forest can move from one point of the program to the other let them drive by train. The city tours in the district are exciting, instructive, entertaining, but sometimes it takes a little longer, i.e. one or the other route has to be covered here. The church tours in particular, for example “From church tower to church tower”, together with the KBW - are sometimes small hikes.

Good for everyone who is good on their feet, but not all of them. "But now they can join in, too," says Thomas Warg happily - one of three district homeworkers and the man who organizes the city tours in the district. And resourceful as Warg is, he has now launched a new variant of the popular city tours - the cozy one, together with the Ebersberg carnival company. With the train, including four trailers, you can now go on the exciting journeys with you in your luggage, the most varied of topics. There is actually nothing that Thomas Warg and his team of 16 city guides cannot tell in an exciting, entertaining or even creepy way.

The name of the train - Josefine, by the way, is a kind of retroactive declaration of love. Because the construction of the train took the members of the carnival society quite a few hours and the wife of the chairman at the time, Josef Honauer, did not see her husband often at that time. And as thanks for the wife's understanding, the train was named after her. From now on Josefine is not only on festive occasions, such as carnival or wine festival, but also culturally.

"The baptism of fire, among others with our city guide and former mayor Walter Brilmayer, is already behind us and everything went really well." If you would like to book this service and certainly also the fun of such a city tour, the best thing to do is to contact Thomas Warg on Tel. (0 80 92) 33 66 01 or by e-mail to thomas.warg@t-online.de . The theme of the Open Monument Day this year is sustainability. "We are blessed with one of the largest contiguous forest areas here and the topic fits perfectly here."

Dr. Heinz Utschig - landlord of the State Forests, makes it possible that over twenty guides can present and tell their topics in the forest on this day and, above all, that Josefine is allowed to drive in the forest on this day. Then it says: next stop, barrows. Topics such as the white woman, the newly discovered fountain or forest bathing promise an exciting program with “Zug”. The ride is free. - dd
