President Andrés Manuel López Obrador arrived on Tuesday in the Mexican state of Veracruz, which on Saturday was hit by Hurricane Grace in category three.
But the president did not go to the affected area, but first attended an event of a historical commemorative nature and said that later he would meet in the capital of Veracruz to discuss the plan to support the victims.
Meanwhile, collection centers in Mexico City resent the lack of citizen participation.
