Leap in the number of corona vaccinators in the first and second doses Israel today

2021-08-24T11:54:12.414Z

The daily average of vaccinators in the first dose almost doubled from 4,500 to 8,000 per day • In the second dose, there was an average increase from 2,500 to 4,000 vaccinators per day

Towards the beginning of the school year and the charge for students aged 12 and over in a corona test or presentation of a green mark, there is an encouraging trend of an increase in vaccines against the corona virus.

This is a significant step that strengthens Israel's immunity to the virus.

According to data from the Home Front Command's Information and Knowledge Center, 11,000 new Israelis arrived yesterday to be vaccinated with their first vaccine dose, while 10,000 were vaccinated with this dose on Sunday as well.

This is a positive trend in the last two weeks, in which there has been a significant increase in Israelis who come to receive this dose.

The daily average is about 8,000 vaccinated (including Saturdays and Fridays, when there are almost no vaccines).

This is in contrast to the situation that prevailed three weeks ago, when the average number of vaccinators in the first dose was about 4,500 vaccinators per day.

A similar increase is also evident among recipients of the second vaccine dose.

Between 9 and 14 August, the average number of vaccine recipients per day was 2,500 people.

As of August 15, the average recipient of the second vaccine dose is 4,000.

These data are in line with the publication of Clalit Health Fund, which announced that there was an increase of about 40% in vaccines for the first dose yesterday with more than 7,000 vaccines.

Among those vaccinated in the first dose today is Iris Tamar, a high school student who came to be vaccinated together with Grandma Maria Debrecen to Clalit's vaccination compound in Kiryat Shmona.

The granddaughter Iris said that she came to get vaccinated ahead of the start of the school year and brought her grandmother with her so that she too would be protected from the virus.
