Georg Fink cares about horses. Anyone who knows him knows that. Because the 72-year-old is the founder, owner and managing director of the engineering office Fink Reitanlagen in Aufkirchen. All the less does he enjoy an incident that he observed last Friday morning. In particular, the aggressive behavior of a tractor driver in a near collision with a woman and her horse annoys him. As the Erdinger police reported on request, the driver is waiting for a report.
Aufkirchen - Fink was out with his two dogs on Friday. Between Kempfing and Aufkirchen, he saw a young woman - according to the police, a 29-year-old from Munich - leading her horse, which had recently been operated on on the leg, properly on the field path near the wayside cross. “A tractor with a trailer came from the direction of Kempfing. Instead of slowing down the pace, the driver really accelerated and only braked fully at the very last moment so as not to roll over the horse and the young lady, ”Fink tells our newspaper.
He has no understanding of what followed: “The farmer jumped out of the tractor and ran aggressively with raised fist and loudly cursing the shocked woman who had fled into the field.” Fink, who observed the whole thing up close had, now intervened.
"Reluctantly, the driver gave his name and drove off without a word of apology," reports the man from Aufkirchen.
The Munich woman, who, according to Fink, was very afraid for her horse and for herself, turned to the Erdinger police.
With the help of the license plate that she had memorized, the officers had quickly identified the driver.
According to the police, it is a 48-year-old from the Moosinning community.
He is now awaiting a complaint about dangerous interference in road traffic.
"Why can't you just slow down, drive past the walkers with horse and dog at walking pace and with a friendly smile?" Asks Fink.
