An opinion poll conducted by USA Today and the University of Suffolk revealed that the approval of US President Joe Biden fell to 41 percent against the background of the Taliban's control of Afghanistan.
It is noteworthy that the manner of the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan led to the “collapse” of the situation in this country, in which the developments of events accelerated with the entry of the Taliban movement, the capital, Kabul, and its control over most government institutions, and dozens of Afghan soldiers trying to flee to neighboring countries.
The American "The Hill" website stated that the poll showed that 55 percent of those surveyed opposed Biden's job performance, 62 percent said they did not agree with Biden's handling of the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan, while 26 percent said they agreed with his method, and 12 percent were undecided. Yet about 82 percent of respondents said the Afghanistan issue was either "extremely" or "somewhat" important to them.
