Nearly two decades after the previous time, Ben Affleck has decided that his nominee for eternity is the mythical ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez, and just two months after the dubious and highly publicized comeback of the two, he was documented examining luxury engagement rings.
Affleck (49) was spotted yesterday (Monday) at the Tiffany jewelry store, along with his mother and son Samuel (from his marriage to actress Jennifer Garner), as they delve into a selection of luxurious and sparkling rings.
As you may recall, the last time Affleck pulled out a ring and offered Lopez (52) to be his forever it was in 2002, when it was an eye-popping ring with a huge six-carat pink diamond, valued at about $ 2.5 million.
Despite the gestures of grandiose love, the two broke up in 2004, accusing the media of being overly obsessive and incessantly probing their lives.
Affleck has since married actress Jennifer Garner, the mother of his three children, while Lopez, as is well known, has been married three times before, including singer Mark Anthony, who together became parents to twins.
Lopez's last romantic relationship was with baseball player Alex Rodriguez, with whom she broke up last April after a four-year relationship, including two-year engagements.
A month after parting ways with Rodriguez, gossip sites reported a comeback (apparently waiting on Cupid's list for nearly two decades) between Lopez and Affleck, dubbed by the media as "Benifer," and since then the two have been "in love to the top and inseparable," according to the couple.
The two have already spent time at a variety of resorts and vacations (including a particularly sticky and hot pastime on a yacht as part of Lopez's birthday celebrations) and even reunite the families. According to reports, they have also recently started looking for a shared home. Now, it seems, the ring stage is coming, and it remains to be seen whether this time they will be able to reach the canopy.
