district has been in operation for almost two years, but the municipality is still preoccupied with the phase before the opening.

It is well known that some of Buch's streets were used by the construction vehicles during the construction work, although these were not shown in the official route plan.

The Erdinger Straße in the main town and the communal road Kaltenbach-Oberndorf were affected (we reported).

Buch am Buchrain: renovation of the sidewalk and road to Oberndorf already commissioned

So far, there has been no progress in contact with the Isentalautobahn project company with regard to compensation. But now the topic is as good as closed, as Mayor Ferdinand Geisberger reported when asked. The amount of the repairs was agreed three months ago. "We received an offer that we were not yet completely satisfied with and made a counter offer," said Geisberger. This was discussed again in the local council, "but the sum ultimately agreed was satisfactory for us".

In the meantime you have received a "certain amount" that the town hall chief does not want to name specifically.

To the best of his knowledge, other municipalities are negotiating with the project company.

According to Geisberger, the renovation of the sidewalk and the road to Oberndorf has already been commissioned and is expected to be carried out in winter or spring.
