The Be'er Sheva District Court today (Wednesday) convicted Aviad Moshe of attempting to murder his ex-wife Shira Isakov.
Judge Yael Raz Levy said she gave full credence to Iscove's testimony, which was present in the courtroom herself.
"The offense of attempted murder has been proven beyond a reasonable doubt, these are dozens of violent beatings," the judge clarified.
Moshe was also convicted of aggravated assault.
The judge further added that she was under the impression that despite Moshe's apology, he had in fact blamed Iskov for the difficult events, and also that he "explains that he is the victim".
Before the verdict, Iscove entered the courtroom upset and with teary eyes, and when asked how she felt she replied that she was "too stressed."
Ofer Iskov, Shira's brother, responded: "I am happy with the decision, but it is not enough but to continue to reduce the violence in society, whether by punishment or by publicity."
