Deir ez-Zor - Sana'a
The Deir ez-Zor firefighting brigade put out a fire that broke out after midnight in the first automated bakery in the Hamidiya neighborhood of Deir ez-Zor, and the damage was limited to material.
The commander of the Deir Ezzor Fire Brigade, Ahmed Al-Safi, indicated in a statement to SANA's reporter that the regiment went to the site as soon as information was received about the occurrence of the fire, and it was brought under control, preventing its spread and limiting the damage.
He stressed that the speed of response prevented the fire from spreading into the bakery, as the quantities of flour, most of the bakery's equipment and fuel tanks remained intact, while the damage was limited to the fire house, the final fermentation room, and burners in the bakery.
He pointed out that the cause of the fire was a technical failure in the burners.
The director of the bakery branch, Samir Al-Sanad indicated that the branch will work directly to carry out the necessary maintenance for the bakery after the investigations initiated by the police command are completed, and that it will work to provide bread to the people in the same quantity that the bakery used to produce by relying on the second automated bakery and distributing it to the accredited people who rent bread from it to facilitate Citizens get the material until the bakery returns to work.
