The Israel Police arrested 2 more suspects in a minor rape incident since 2015, by a number of suspects at a hotel in the city of Ashdod - today they will be brought in to extend their detention.
Following the police announcement about the undercover police investigation that began with a complaint received by a young woman in her 20s, after she was rewarded with a heartbeat to go to the police station, where she was told in the ears of a rape case that occurred in 2015.
The young woman's complaint states that when she was a 14-year-old girl, she used the service of a taxi driver in one of the cities in the south of the country towards the city of Ashdod, which during the trip allegedly provided her with a dangerous drug, and then took her to a hotel in Ashdod. The suspect took advantage of her condition and committed serious sexual offenses with her.
The suspicion also arose that the main suspect invited his friends to the same room, who also allegedly carried out their plot on the minor.
As the investigation progressed to the overt stage, this week police investigators arrested the main suspect (36, Ashdod), on suspicion of offending a minor on drugs, unlawful cause and other serious offenses, and his detention was extended in court.
As the police investigation progressed, police investigators revealed the identities of two other suspects (29, 33, Ashdod and Ashkelon) who allegedly arrived at the hotel that day, and also committed sexual offenses on a minor. They will be brought before a court requesting an extension of their detention.
