Lucía Fernández was 15 years old.
He lived with his parents in a rural town in Maipú, in Greater Mendoza.
This Tuesday, when the family assumed she was at school, she was beaten and stabbed to death.
His body appeared in an abandoned farm.
Her mother said that, in 2020, Lucía
had been a victim of sexual abuse
and that her attacker (a classmate) had threatened her.
He is 14 years old and was transferred to the juvenile criminal prosecutor's office,
Mendoza's homicide prosecutor, Carlos Torres, was investigating the victim's last days and who she may have met the afternoon she was killed, although now the case would go to the jurisdiction of minors.
Every noon, Rosalba Nievas (48), Lucía's mother, accompanied her walking 600 meters down a dirt street in the town of San Roque, to the bus stop to go to school.

As this Tuesday her mother was ill -with angina-, the adolescent made the same journey alone.

The mother reported her missing to 911. Almost at the same time, a man who had gone out to get firewood for heating found the body of the teenager, 10 kilometers from her home.
The girl was murdered in a farm located at 4400 Pueyrredón street in Colonia Jara, Rodeo del Medio.
He had blows to the face made with a brick and at least seven puncture wounds to the body.
A few meters away, the police found his backpack, his cell phone and the white coat he used for school.

"I ask for justice," Rosalba said when she returned home this Wednesday, after recognizing her daughter's body.

"The last time they managed to file a complaint and found it at a friend's house," he recalled.
That same friend would have a family link with the young man whom the family suspects could be the murderer, who has now been arrested.
In the last ten years in Argentina there is an average of one femicide every 30 hours.
According to statistics from the Office of Domestic Violence of the Supreme Court, in 2018 alone there were 278. Most murders occur in the homes of the victims and are committed by partners or exes.
