The police prosecution filed today (Thursday) a serious indictment against a woman who attacked and humiliated her husband, an 88-year-old Holocaust survivor.
About two weeks ago, a report was received at Hotline 100 regarding an unusual noise of the cries of immigrants from the apartment of an elderly couple in Tel Aviv.
Police officers who arrived at the scene noticed an 88-year-old Holocaust survivor and a disabled person in a wheelchair with a bruised and exhausted body, and his wife in her 60s.
According to the suspicion, his wife poured the bowl of urine attached to his body over his face, pushed him hard in the wheelchair and caused him injuries to his hands.
He also took his mobile phone from him so that he could not call for help, and tightly closed his mouth so that his cries would not be heard.
Finally she even threatened him: "Today I am killing you."
The police arrested the suspect for questioning at the Sharett police station, at the end of which she was imprisoned and her detention was extended from time to time in court.
Today, at the end of the investigation, the prosecution unit of the Israel Police in the Tel Aviv district filed an indictment and a request for detention until the end of the legal proceedings against the woman for the said acts.
