Afghanistan: ISIS claimed double responsibility for the Kabul airport attack

The Afghan branch of the terrorist group ISIS claimed on Thursday the

double attack

that has left dozens of deaths in the vicinity of the Kabul airport, according to a statement from the extremists' information agency, Amaq, disseminated by its propaganda channels on the internet.

As reported so far, two suicide bombers and men armed with rifles attacked a crowd at the entrance of the air terminal, where in recent days

the evacuation

three explosions

have been confirmed

in Afghanistan.

The first two, now awarded by the Islamic State, occurred in the vicinity of the Kabul airport.

The Pentagon confirmed that 12 American soldiers were among the fatalities.
