The head of the Shabtalia municipality, Zahr al-Din Zureik, indicated that the Latakia Fire Brigade and firefighting personnel in the Forestry Department of the Directorate of Agriculture, in cooperation with the people, put out a fire that broke out in lands planted with olives in the village of Shabtalia in the countryside of the governorate, pointing out that the damage was limited to an estimated area of 3 dunums planted with olives and that the people They participated in extinguishing the fire using mechanisms and tanks.
