The Home Front Command and the Ministry of Health announced that starting today (Thursday), the test operation for ages 3-12 will be resumed at no cost, but only in localities where the percentage of those sampled with antibodies to the virus is more than 12%. This, after stopping the operation yesterday due to heavy loads due to the collapse of the site and the app, as well as due to a positive rate that was lower than expected.
In light of the change in the outline, the list of localities in which the test operation will take place from today until Tuesday, August 31, is updated regularly on the map on the Home Front Command website, and you can see the hours of operation in which each locality can be inspected. The test is done using a finger prick, it is simple and short and gives children who have recovered from the corona virus a certificate of recovery that exempts them from isolation due to exposure to a verified patient, as well as the ability to issue a green card for them.
The tests will be performed on children who have not yet been diagnosed with blue and have not been defined as recovering in the past.
Children aged 12 and over are not included in the eligibility group for tests because they can be vaccinated, but if they have not yet turned 12 years and three months, and are in sixth grade with 12 years and under - they will be able to take the test, as well as 2018 natives who have not yet turned 3, but They are starting school this year in kindergarten.

In parallel with the updated list of localities, the communications services company will also be replaced, through which the system of serological tests will be conducted.
The system has faced significant difficulties since the first day of the operation, after the app and the website collapsed due to high demand, while a malfunction in Cellcom's communications system, through which the system is run, also slowed down the pace of activity.
Following this, the Home Front Command switched to manual feeding.
For this operation, another 6,000 soldiers from the Home Front Command were recruited to be deployed as widely as possible.
In the last two weeks, the operation was conducted in the ultra-Orthodox sector and yielded less percentages than expected.
The Ministry of Education and Health predicts that there will be between 20% -30% of students who will find a cure in these tests, but on average there are currently only 18%.
The ultra-Orthodox cities were strongholds of disease, so in general society the percentage is expected to even drop to 15% in total.
