The case involving the sexual assault of an 18-year-old granddaughter by a foreigner in his seventies was renewed in the High Court today (26th). The prosecution played a video interview after the defendant was arrested.
He pointed out that when he massaged the victim who did not wear a bust, he touched her chest because of salty wetness and crooked thoughts and borrowed words to check if the victim had breast cancer.
He also massaged the victim's feet, removed her underwear and touched her private parts, and stopped because of fatigue.
The victim moved into the unit several months before the incident
The defendant revealed in the first video interview that he retired in 2008 and was a bus driver before retirement.
He and his wife live in the same public housing unit.
The daughter of the young girl, the victim X, has also moved into the unit since November 2018.
He pointed out that the first indecent assault occurred between February and April 2019.
He revealed that he knew that X had abdominal pain due to menstruation, so he massaged the other party to relieve the pain.
X, who was not wearing a bust at the time, lay on the bed and pulled his shirt up to his heart.
During the massage, the defendant claimed to check X's chest for lumps, and then pinch X's chest with his hands.
X did not speak, but pushed the defendant away, so he stopped.
He pointed out that he felt that he was "good and wrong" because of "wrong thoughts, sorrow and dampness" instead of courtesy X, and regretted it.
Claimed that the bones touched the X hips
When he massaged X two times later, he also borrowed the words to check whether X had breast cancer, and put his hand into the other's shirt to touch his chest. X didn't wear a bust at the time.
The defendant also mentioned that because X said that his waist was sore and sore, he "slapped the bones" for the other party and touched X's buttocks during the period.
However, he emphasized that there was no crooked thought during the "Bone Slap".
Acknowledge your improvement during the massage
The defendant mentioned in the second video interview that when he massaged his feet by pressing X in May 2019, he also became enamored due to crooked thoughts. He removed the other party’s underwear, touched the other party’s private parts, and inserted a little finger. He stopped because he felt tired.
At the end of the video, when the police officer asked if he had any supplements, he pointed out that he had done something unforgivable and should not rape indecent assault, and asked the judge to give him a chance.
The defendant emphasized that he would make corrections and would not repeat the offence.
The 73-year-old defendant was charged with 4 counts of indecent assault, 1 count of rape, and 1 count of incest as alternate charges.
The charge of indecent assault refers to the defendant's indecent assault at a unit in Xiu Maoping from February 1 to May 11, 2019.
The crime of rape and incest means that the defendant raped the victim X in the same unit on May 11 of the same year, or knew that X was his granddaughter and still had sexual intercourse with her.
X was 18 years old at the time of the incident.
