Pita meal: excellent falafel-flavored tuna patties
Open a pantry: all you need is tuna, canned chickpeas, coriander and some spices and you have tuna-falafel patties.

It's just as ingenious as it sounds: tuna-falafel patties.
Patties are made of brown and crispy tuna with a falafel flavor thanks to the combination with chickpeas, coriander and spices.
The combination of the tuna and the chickpeas makes the dish have a high quality protein and the taste makes everyone want to put them in the pita and devour.
So do not forget a lot of tehini and fresh chopped vegetable salad and you have a complete and nutritious meal for the whole family.
The falafel-flavored tuna patties can be fried or baked in the oven.

Ingredients
For the tuna-falafel patty mixture:
2 cans of tuna in olive oil
1 can of cooked chickpeas (290 g)
1 consumption of coriander
3 cloves of crushed garlic
2-3 chopped green onion stalks
3 eggs
½ Bread crumbs
1 teaspoon of cumin
1 tbsp
1 teaspoon salt
Black pepper
For frying:
Oil

How to make tuna-falafel patties?
1 Drain the tuna from the oil and the canned chickpeas from the liquid.
Transfer to a food processor, add the rest of the ingredients and grind to a smooth mixture.
The mixture comes out very sticky and that's fine.
Let the mixture rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to set (if the mixture is still very thin, you can add some more bread crumbs).
3 Heat semi-deep oil in a large skillet.
4 Using wet hands, form patties and gently place in the hot oil, flattening slightly.
If you do not want to get dirty, you can also create patties with two spoons, take a tablespoon of the mixture and with the other spoon, lower the mixture directly into the oil.
Fry on both sides until nicely browned.
Remove to a tray lined with absorbent paper.

Do not want to fry?
You can also bake in the oven
- preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
Line a pan with baking paper, lightly grease and place the patties on top.
Lightly grease the surface of the patties and bake until browned.
