The final stage of the “Deutschland Tour” cycling race with international teams will take place on August 29th in Nuremberg.

Nuremberg - On Thursday (August 26th) the cycle race of the “Deutschland Tour” begins in Stralsund.
132 drivers from international teams take part.
The final stage will be decided on Sunday (August 29) in Nuremberg *, as announced by the city administration.
Nuremberg: Two German drivers among the favorites
13 of the teams have already taken part in the “Tour de France” this year.
Well-known drivers are Emanuel Buchmann, Ben O'Connor, Pelle Bilbao, João Almeida and Chris Froome, who has already won the “Tour de France” four times.
Two Germans also have a good chance of winning: John Degenkolb and Nils Politt.
Nuremberg: the old town is the scene of the final stage
ARD and ZDF will broadcast the final stage live on Sunday, August 29th.
It starts at 3:50 p.m. with pictures from Franconian Switzerland.
From 5 p.m. the drivers are expected at the Nuremberg Opera House.
They will do three and a half laps through the old town until the winner of the “Germany Tour” is determined at 5:20 pm.
Nuremberg: Individual streets temporarily closed
For safety reasons, several streets along the racetrack will be temporarily closed on August 29th.

Hobby athletes can take part in two races of the “Jedermann Tour” in Nuremberg: On the “Ride Tour” you can simply cycle without competition.
The “mini tour”, on the other hand, is an offer for the little ones.

The “Expo Tour” bicycle fair will take place at Richard-Wagner-Platz from 11 a.m.
Many stands and attractions invite you to watch and try out.
