With an increasing number of infections, for example, more chains of infection would have to be traced and, accordingly, more contacts would have to be notified.
To date, the Free State has not finally promised further financing.
CSU City Councilor Hans Hammer assumes that this will still take place.

As of Wednesday, September 1st, the opening times have changed in Riem: Fridays and Saturdays are closed, as the fewest vaccination appointments have been made for these two days. Thursdays will be open until 9 p.m. in the future. On all other days of the week, the previous opening times from 9 a.m. to 5.45 p.m. remain unchanged.
Most recently, only a good 2000 vaccinations per day were carried out in Riem. The capacity is designed almost four times as much. Regardless of this, the city is already two-pronged. In addition to the center in the Riem exhibition center, there should continue to be more low-threshold and decentralized vaccination offers with the vaccination bus throughout the city. SPD parliamentary group leader Anne Hübner speaks out in favor of maintaining the capacities in Riem: “Giving up the vaccination center would be a mistake. It is good that it can now be adjusted in size as required. ”Green City Councilor Anja Berger also sees this as the right tactic. “The vaccination is the most important pillar for us to return to normal at some point.” She now hopes that the Free State will follow up on the words about financing.
