A 63-year-old man from Tel Aviv was charged this morning (Friday) in the Magistrate's Court in Petah Tikva with threats against Education Minister Yifat Shasha-Bitton and her family.

According to the indictment, Refaeli Cohen issued a statement in the WhatsApp group stating that if the minister did not oppose vaccines against Corona in schools, she and her family would be harmed:

The announcement was made in a WhatsApp group run by Cohen, which has hundreds of members.

Cohen shared an article about Sahar Ismail, an adviser to the Minister of Education and close to Justice Minister Gideon Saar, who was shot dead outside his home in Rama.
