14-year-old high school student
reported that two men who were driving in a truck wanted to put him in the vehicle when he was about to arrive at his school in the Colegiales neighborhood of Buenos Aires.
The incident was reported this Thursday to the authorities of the Neighborhood Police Station 13 C, by the adolescent's mother and by the director of
the private school Hans Christian Andersen
, located on Calle Ciudad de la Paz at 1200.
According to the adolescent's complaint,
the incident occurred at noon on Thursday
, when the 14-year-old boy was walking through the intersection of Ciudad de la Paz and Virrey Loreto towards the entrance of the school and a white van occupied by two men stopped in the middle of block, on public roads.
Police spokesmen indicated that according to the student's statements, one of those men got out of the vehicle and told him:
"Go up, we'll take you."
The teenager got scared, took a few steps back and, due to the passage of other passers-by, the man in the truck returned to the road, which fled through Virrey Loreto in the direction of Amenábar Street.
The complainant said that the truck also had the logo of a supermarket chain.
The case, titled in principle as "investigation of illegal", was in charge of the prosecutor in Criminal and Correctional Number 27, Marcelo Munilla Lacasa, who
ordered to take a series of statements
and the detectives of the Brigade of the police station 13 C of the City Police, carry out a survey of the security cameras in the area.
The Andersen School released a statement to the educational community confirming the fact and giving a series of advice.
"As many of you will already be aware of, today, a student from our institution had a bad experience when entering the school at noon. The complaint was made to the relevant authorities," says the text .
In addition, he pointed out that "in recent days there have been some robberies in the area" and asked parents to speak with their children about the following recommendations: "Be attentive to the environment; do not speak or stop at the request of strangers; if possible try to be accompanied; in any strange situation; use the businesses in the area and report what happens to them. "
They also advise "approaching a parent from the school who goes with their children; walking through the busiest streets, even if it is the longest way; entering the school through any of the entrances".
Finally, they affirm: "We have asked the police for more vigilance regarding entry and exit times."
