The city of Jenin in the West Bank witnessed this evening a protest demonstration denouncing the crimes of the Israeli occupation and demanding the handover of the body of a Palestinian martyr.
Wafa Agency stated that the Palestinians participating in the demonstration raised pictures of martyrs and Palestinian flags and roamed the streets of the city, chanting slogans condemning the occupation and its violations, demanding the handover of the body of the martyr Jamil Al-Amouri, who is being held by the occupation forces.
The participants stressed the need to confront the occupation forces and the settlers' attacks, calling on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities.
Al-Amouri was killed with two Palestinians by the Israeli occupation forces’ bullets during their storming of Nazareth Street in Jenin on the tenth of last June, and their body was seized.
