Tonight, after the meeting was postponed, Biden and Bennett talked on the phone.
During the conversation, Bennett expressed condolences following the attack and noted that Israel shares in the United States' grief.
"We stand by you at this difficult time as the United States has stood by Israel over the years," Bennett told Baiden.
The President of the United States thanked Bennett for his understanding of the change at the time of their meeting in light of the events in Afghanistan, and added that he looks forward to meeting with him.

On Wednesday, Bennett met with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
During their meeting, Bennett raised the issue of granting an exemption from the need for a visa to the United States for Israelis.
This issue has been on the agenda for many years, and was recently re-promoted by Israel's Ambassador to Washington, Gilad Ardan.
A senior official in the Prime Minister's entourage said that Bennett's achievement in the meeting with Blinken was that the latter provided "political guidance" to the US State Department in favor of advancing the issue and resolving the remaining disputes over the matter.
