Bennett invited Biden to visit Israel: "Iranian issue cannot be postponed"

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said tonight (Friday) after his meeting with US President Joe Biden that the Iranian issue does not tolerate delay.

Bennett noted after the meeting that he invited Biden to visit Israel after the fight against the Delta strain of the corona virus and concluded the meeting as "excellent".

Bennett noted that both the President of the United States and he are determined that Iran will never be able to reach nuclear weapons.

"I am glad that we agree on the goal and at working levels we will work together on cooperation on the issue. There is not much time. The Iranian issue is urgent and cannot be delayed," Bennett said.

The prime minister added that he found "a leader who loves Israel, knows exactly what he wants and is also attentive to our needs."

He said after the meeting a personal connection was established between him and President Biden.

"I invited the president to Israel after overcoming the delta," Bennett said.
