NEW - On the occasion of the Geneva Watch Days, the Roman house is revisiting its jet-set watch from the 1990s in a GMT version.

Just a year ago, Bulgari revisited its sport chic watch born in 1998. The first luxury watch to combine aluminum and rubber.

“This Aluminum collection is aimed at a very different, younger, more relaxed clientele,”

confided Jean-Christophe Babin, President of Bulgari at the time.

It's a real sports and hypercool watch. ”

And at less than 3000 euros, this timeless and unisex jet-setter was also a new gateway to the watchmaking dimension of the brand.

On the occasion of the Geneva Watch Days, an informal watch fair taking place from August 30 to September 3 in Geneva, Bulgari does it again.

The message is clear: after months of immobility or even confinement, it's time to dust off your passport!

Here is a GMT version of the Bulgari Aluminum, announced at 3,500 euros.

There is no question here of copying the neighbors, by offering yet another variation of the red and blue bezel.

The design of the model is retained, with a diameter of 40 mm, an imposing blue bezel double stamped with the name of the brand encircling the dial.

Home time is indicated by the hour and minute hands pointing towards the indexes in the inner zone of the dial, stamped with the words

“Aluminum GMT”

at 6 o'clock.

The local time is displayed via a red-tipped hand indicating the outer 24-hour scale of the dial, divided into two 12-hour zones, in order to distinguish day and night.

Simple, efficient, readable and elegant.

All settings are made via the crown.

But beyond its simplicity and style, it is its lightness that appeals to the wrist: thanks to its aluminum case, 75% lighter than steel and 40% lighter than titanium, this sports watch chic does not even weigh 70 grams, between its rubber strap and its titanium caseback and crown! This Aluminum GMT, water-resistant to 100 meters, beats to the rhythm of a B192 automatic movement, equipped with a 42-hour power reserve.
