An indictment was filed this morning (Friday) against a 63-year-old Tel Aviv resident, for threatening Education Minister Yifat Shasha-Bitton and her family.
The indictment states that the defendant shared a WhatsApp group, which includes hundreds of subscribers, with a link to an article published about the Education Minister's adviser murder and allegedly wrote the following: "Your personal assistant, who was killed on Sunday when he left the house by gunfire, was one last warning and warning before harming your family. Please note, we are not talking, we are killing people and killing them."

As part of a complaint filed with the police several days ago for threats, a number of rapid investigative actions were carried out by the Blade 443 cyber unit, which led to the defendant. The indictment was filed by the police prosecution division in the Magistrate's Court in Petah Tikva. At the end of the hearing it was decided that the suspect would remain in custody until further notice.
