China today condemned the two terrorist bombings that took place in the Afghan capital of Kabul yesterday, which killed more than 100 people, including US soldiers.
"China is shocked and strongly condemns these explosions," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian told reporters today, noting that it "shows that the security situation in Afghanistan is still complex and dangerous."
Zhao called on relevant parties to take "measures to ensure the security of the Afghan people and foreign citizens."
More than 100 people, including 13 US soldiers and 90 Afghan civilians, were killed in two explosions that targeted yesterday the vicinity of the Afghan capital, Kabul, and were claimed by the terrorist organization "ISIS".
