A 25-year-old man was run over to death tonight (Friday) on Road 854 near Carmiel.
Hian medical staff who arrived at the scene provided him with medical treatment but were eventually forced to determine his death at the scene of the incident.
The fatal accident occurred in the evening, on the road connecting Carmiel with Tefen.
A vehicle hit a young man while he was walking on the spot.
Hian's intensive care unit was called, and medical staff began operations to stabilize his condition.
At first his condition was defined as human and the paramedics decided on life-saving operations, but eventually his death was determined.
Police have begun investigating the circumstances of the case.

The accident came after a series of other accidents that occurred this week on the country's roads.
The most prominent of them was deafening earlier this week on Road 40 near Mitzpe Ramon, when a mother and her daughter were killed.
The two, 37-year-old Irafgan and her four-month-old baby daughter Herut, residents of Kiryat Arba, went to visit a friend in Mitzpe Ramon.
Upon learning of the accident, rescue forces were called, and MDA staff evacuated the wounded while performing resuscitation efforts on the mother and her home, but a few hours later doctors were forced to determine the death of awe at Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva.
