Juana Ginzo, mythical actress of the chain of actors of Cadena SER, dies

Juana Ginzo, a mythical actress from the Cadena SER cast of actors, has died at the age of 99.

She was one of the great voices of radio drama in our country, for example with the serial 'Ama Rosa', which began in 1959. The actress explained in interviews that this character she played, submissive, was the complete opposite of what she was and that it pained him to convey that message to women.

She always defined herself as a feminist and on the left.

She was one of the first women in Spain to wear pants and a miniskirt.

Ginzo was born in Madrid.

She played Raimunda in 'La Malquerida', la Dominica, in 'Señora Ama y el Rosa', the unfortunate maid in 'Ama Rosa'.

In 1957 he received the Ondas Award for his dramatic performances.

Juana Ginzo was one of the favorite actresses of Antonio Calderón, creator of the SER company of actors, and she played the roles of first lady in many of his plays at the Teatro del Aire. 

His voice was also present in the first stage of the informative program of 'Hora 25' (1972) and in his tune 'En la Cadena SER, Hora 25'.
