The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, affirmed that the victory that was achieved by liberating Jurud al-Qaa from terrorists was the result of sacrifices made over the years by the Syrian Arab Army and its allies.
Nasrallah indicated during a televised speech broadcast by Al-Manar TV today that what happened in the outskirts of Al-Qaa was part of the global war on Syria and a dangerous plan prepared in the region, pointing out that the terrorist organization “ISIS” created by America had international and regional support and great facilities, and thousands of people were brought in. From its militants to the region, but the Syrian Arab Army and its allies thwarted the American plan in the region.
Sayyed Nasrallah said, "As we have always said to the Israelis, we say to the terrorists and takfiris: If you return, we will return, and the project that has been prepared for the region is collapsing."
Nasrallah clarified that the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed by the United States of America on the Syrian people within the so-called “Caesar Act” were not intended to besiege Syria only, but also to besiege Lebanon, as the doors were closed for most of the Lebanese who wanted to invest in Syria. It prevented any facilities that could have been used to revive the Lebanese economy, especially since Syria is the only land bordering Lebanon.
On the US withdrawal from Afghanistan, Sayyed Nasrallah said, "The project that has been prepared for the region is collapsing, and what we are witnessing today in Afghanistan is a complete scene of a complete American defeat... and all the headlines that are used are deceptive headlines whose purpose is occupation and control," stressing that Afghanistan's experience and the way America deals with Her allies there should be a lesson to all who bet on
Americans in the region.
Regarding the Lebanese internal affairs, Sayyed Nasrallah called for the necessity of forming the Lebanese government as soon as possible in order to start finding solutions to the crises experienced by the Lebanese, stressing the need to keep the Beirut Port explosion file away from targeting, politicizing and acting as dictated by the constitution.
