The secretary general of the Hezbollah terrorist organization, Hassan Nasrallah, spoke this evening (Friday) on Al-Manar channel, saying that an agreement had been reached with Iran on the shipment of a third fuel tanker to Lebanon.
"The next few days will prove to those who doubted the arrival of the ships with the fuel that they were wrong .. and our things will be clear when the first vessel arrives in Lebanon," Nasrallah said.
The land of cedars is suffering from a severe shortage of fuels and gas stations are filling up in queues despite rising prices.
The fuel also affects Lebanon's ability to provide regular electricity to its residents.
The crisis began following the mass abandonment of foreign investors by Lebanese banks during the Syrian civil war in which Hezbollah participated.
The withdrawal of foreign money continued on the part of the Lebanese themselves after the explosion in the port of Beirut about a year ago.
Nasrallah addressed the United States in his speech and said that if the Lebanese people are interested in the administration, it should exempt it from the sanctions and stop with the threats.
"We have agreed with the Iranians to start loading a third fuel tanker," Hezbollah's secretary general said, noting that Lebanon needed more than three ships in the near future.
The head of the pro-Iranian terrorist organization added in his speech that the US Imperial Law, which imposes sanctions on people who have ties to the Assad regime, constitutes a siege on Syria and Lebanon.
He accused the United States that without its sanctions, they could have ostensibly revived the electricity and gas sectors in Lebanon.
