At about 2 am, off of No. 346 Lai Chi Kok Road, Sham Shui Po, a BMW motorhome parked on the side of the road suddenly caught fire.
The firefighter arrived at the scene and found that the fire had been extinguished. It was initially learned that the glass window of the driver's seat of the car had been blown, and a fire broke out in the leather seat of the rear seat.
It is understood that two men approached the car before the incident, and it caught fire a few days later.
Some passers-by immediately reported the case and put out the fire with a fire extinguisher. No one was injured in the incident. The fire was suspicious. The police classified the case as "arson" for follow-up.
According to the police, a report was received from a passer-by at 2:21 am that a private car caught fire off No. 348 Lai Chi Kok Road, Sham Shui Po.
After preliminary investigation, the fire department believed that the cause of the fire was suspicious.
The case was classified as arson and was handed over to Sham Shui Po Police District Criminal Investigation Team No. 8 for follow-up. No one has been arrested yet.
